Healing on Every Level: My Favorite Tools for Addiction & Recovery Support
Hey, it’s Ronai!
If you or someone you love is walking the path of recovery—whether from substance addiction like alcohol, tobacco, or drugs, or emotional dependencies like food, sugar, or binge-watching TV—I want to share some of the tools that have helped me and many of my clients reclaim their health, joy, and self-worth.
Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s not just about saying “no” to what’s hurting us. It’s about saying “yes” to what heals us—body, mind, and spirit. And for me, that means using natural tools that support my brain, my gut, my nervous system, and my soul.
Supplements That Help Rebuild Your System
Addiction—whether to drugs, alcohol, nicotine, or sugar—can wreak havoc on your nervous system, hormones, and gut health. Rebuilding from the inside out is key.
Here are the core doTERRA supplements I rely on:
doTERRA Lifelong Vitality Pack (LLV): This is my foundation. It supports cellular health, brain function, and energy without synthetic stimulants. When your body is properly nourished, cravings go down and your resilience goes up.
PB Assist+ Probiotic: Gut health is critical in recovery. A damaged gut can lead to mood swings, poor sleep, and increased cravings. This dual-release probiotic helps restore balance where it starts—in your belly.
MetaPWR Advantage: Collagen plus NMN, this powerhouse helps with cellular repair, mitochondrial health, and blood sugar balance. I’ve seen it help stabilize emotional highs and lows as the body heals.
Adaptiv Softgels: My go-to for anxious days. This blend is designed to help with occasional stress and anxious feelings without numbing you. Perfect for navigating recovery and emotional regulation.
And for anyone detoxing from sugar (yes, sugar is addictive!), I highly recommend drinking tons of water and using MetaPWR Assist to support healthy glucose responses.
Essential Oils for Cravings, Triggers & Emotional Healing
Whether you're trying to quit smoking, stop drinking, recover from drug use, or finally break free from late-night snacking and Netflix spirals—essential oils can help calm the mind, support the nervous system, and shift the emotional energy that drives those cravings.
Here are some of my favorites for recovery:
Balance Grounding Blend: A must-have for calming racing thoughts and staying rooted. I apply it to the bottoms of my feet and wrists every morning.
Citrus Bliss: This joyful blend uplifts the mood and helps counter emotional lows, especially when working through guilt or shame.
Frankincense: Known as the “king of oils” for a reason. It supports neurological healing, emotional release, and connection to your higher self.
Black Spruce or Siberian Fir: Both are great for supporting the limbic system and releasing stored trauma. Deep, woodsy oils help process grief and restore strength.
Zendocrine Detoxification Blend: A supportive oil for detoxing organs like the liver and kidneys—especially useful after alcohol or drug use.
Craving Crusher Blend: I like to mix a drop each of Grapefruit, Cinnamon, and Peppermint in a diffuser or with a carrier oil for topical use when cravings strike.
You can also place a drop in your hands, rub them together, and inhale deeply. Aromatherapy is one of the fastest ways to interrupt a thought spiral.

Healing Tools I Use to Support Others on Their Recovery Journey (and Myself Too!)
Let’s be real—just because I coach others through recovery doesn’t mean I don’t still wrestle with my own stuff. For me, it’s food, sugar, and binge-watching TV. Yep, that’s real. But here’s the beautiful part: as I’ve learned tools that help me, I’ve been able to use them to help others heal from all kinds of addictions—from emotional habits to serious substance struggles.
Here are some of the powerful modalities I offer to support others on their healing journey:
Holistic Alignment Sessions: I blend Emotion Code work, essential oils, prayer, affirmations, and spiritual discernment to help clients release emotional blocks and reconnect with their purpose. Each session is Spirit-led and deeply personal.
Hypnotherapy Recordings: I create personalized recordings that clients listen to daily to help rewire the subconscious. These help with releasing cravings, boosting self-worth, interrupting shame cycles, and creating new thought patterns rooted in truth and empowerment.
Faith-Based Coaching: Whether you’re healing from codependency, substance use, emotional burnout, or behavioral patterns, I walk with you through strengths-based, Spirit-filled coaching that reminds you that you’re not broken—you’re becoming.
doTERRA Essential Oils & Supplement Protocols: I use these tools to help the body detox, support neurotransmitter balance, reduce cravings, and improve emotional resilience. When the body is nourished and supported, the mind follows.
Touchstone Essentials Detox Support: Heavy metals and environmental toxins often contribute to brain fog, irritability, and addictive behaviors. These clean, plant-based detox options are gentle, effective, and easy to add to a daily routine.
Strengths-Based Accountability: When clients start to understand their unique strengths and how to use them in recovery, things shift. You stop feeling like you’re failing and start feeling like you’re finally working with yourself instead of against yourself.
I don’t just offer these tools—I live them. I’m in the healing process right alongside you, and I believe that’s what makes this work so powerful. We’re not meant to heal alone. We need tools, we need truth, and we need each other.
What Recovery Really Looks Like—Even When It’s Not Pretty
Let me paint a picture: One moment you’re diffusing Frankincense and sipping your minerals like a healing goddess, and the next you’re elbows deep in a Costco-sized bag of trail mix watching three episodes of a show you don’t even like.

Been there. Still go there sometimes.
Recovery isn’t about perfection. It’s not about hitting a goal weight, deleting all the apps, or “never doing that thing again.” It’s about returning. It’s about getting back up—again and again—faster, with more grace and fewer shame spirals.
Sometimes recovery looks like:
Choosing water over soda, but still grabbing a cookie.
Pausing to pray instead of panic.
Saying no to one thing, even if you said yes to three others.
Reaching out instead of isolating.
Feeling the feels instead of numbing them.
You’re still healing even when you slip. You’re still worthy even when you wobble. You’re still on the path—even if you sit down on the side of the road for a while.
I’m not here to shame you into change. I’m here to remind you: you are not alone, and there are natural tools that can help. Not to fix you, but to support you—because you are already worth fighting for.
