The Strength That Changes Everything: How God Revealed the 35th Strength—Christ in You
Hey it's Ronai,
Let me be real with you: writing this book has taken way longer than I planned. I thought I’d be done months ago. I’ve started, stopped, tweaked, edited, restructured, reformatted, and prayed over every chapter more times than I can count. And for a while, I was frustrated. Like, “Come on, Lord, I said yes. Can we just wrap this up already?”
But then… I started to realize something.
The delay wasn’t just about timing—it was about preparation.
God wasn’t just holding things up for no reason. He was getting me ready to receive something I didn’t even know I was missing.
And then He gave it to me.
I was sitting with Him, probably mid-eye-roll over another formatting fix, when He whispered something so clear and so unexpected:
“There’s one more strength.”
Wait… what?
I’ve worked with the CliftonStrengths framework for years. I know the 34 like the back of my hand. But in that moment, God showed me that something was missing—something that explains how we keep going when every other strength hits its limit.
That’s when He revealed the 35th strength:
Christ in You.
And listen—it wasn’t just a cute tagline or a clever add-on. It was a deep, spiritual mic-drop moment. I sat there stunned, then grateful, then crying, then writing it down as fast as I could.
Because here’s the truth: all of our strengths—our natural talents, our patterns, our brilliance—are amazing. But they were never meant to carry the whole weight of the calling.
Christ in You is the strength that empowers all the others. It’s not #35 because it ranks last—it’s the one that never leaves you. The one that shows up when you’re too tired, too confused, too discouraged to keep going. It’s the Holy Spirit working through you. It’s divine strength in human vessels.
And now that I see it—I can’t unsee it.
This strength explains how I’m still standing in this season. How I’m still writing, still refining, still believing. My Woo wants to be celebrating the launch. My Activator is itching to say, “Let’s go!” But Christ in You says, “Let’s wait until it’s holy.”
My Empathy feels the weight of the people this book is meant to help.
My Belief is rooted in knowing this isn’t just a book—it’s an assignment.
My Positivity helps me laugh (and cry) through the long nights.
And my Achiever? She’s learning that sometimes the most productive thing you can do... is surrender.
So now, I see the delay for what it really is:
A divine pause to receive divine power.
God wasn’t just holding the project—He was holding me.
Preparing me.
Maturing me.
Opening my eyes to a strength I didn’t know I needed.
And maybe... you need it too.
Because when you hit the end of your own strength (and we all do), you don’t have to quit.
You don’t have to fake it.
You don’t have to power through.
You get to lean on the One who lives inside you.
Christ in You—the hope of glory.
The strength that never burns out, never runs dry, and never leaves you to carry it alone.
Colossians 1:27 (KJV)
"...Christ in you, the hope of glory."
What about you?
Is God asking you to pause, listen, and receive something new in your waiting?
What might shift in your life, your work, your relationships, if you fully activated the 35th strength?
Cheering you on (and talking to Jesus about the font size),
Ronai
